An Atash Behram is akin to a Cathedral, an Agiary to a church and a Daadgah to a wayside chapel.

The first two MUST be consecrated and have ever burning fires in them.

IranShah's is not the oldest of our Atash Behram fires (they are in Iran) BUT is definitely the most important one to all Zoroastrains everywhere! As far as I know it is probably the only one that was actually consecrated out of a lightening strike whilst the prayers were going on and that is why they use extra sticks of sandalwood for their boi/machi ceremonies! The others create their 'throne' with seven but I think Udvada has nine! Do NOT quote me on the numbers. Whilst I am wriitng this I feel may be they are 6 and 7
